Elder Turner felt the leading of the Lord to start a work in North Charleston.  Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.  1929 Iris Street, North Charleston, SC 29405. The Lord gave the name of the Church to Elder Turner “Emmanuel,” meaning God with us, and truly, God is with us. Our first day of service was April 23, 2006 and the Lord is blessing our congregation.  Elder Turner and Sister Turner are excited that God has entrusted them to do a work for Him.  Elder Turner and the Saints of Emmanuel Apostolic Church are eagerly anticipating serving the souls of the Chicora Place Community.  Pray for our success in the work of the Lord!

God has given Elder Turner a vision.  He is on the battlefield for the Lord to win souls for the kingdom.  If he carefully and prayerfully follows the leading of the Lord the battle will be won.

Pastor Turner and saints have had several projects.  One was selling dinners; it was very successful.  Another project was giving out school supplies in the Chicora community.  Parents brought their children out to receive their supplies.  This was a way of witnessing to the community.  Pictures were taken with the parents and children.

Continue to pray for us, as we work together to support our pastor in building up God’s kingdom.

Being a young pastor, with a young wife; is very important that can often pose a major struggle between two enormous pressures a career and the needs of his personal life.  Maintaining a balance between work and the stewardship of his own personal health and relationships is a major issue for him, as a pastor.  God has blessed him with a wonderful and supportive wife.
